Place your order by email or telephone and have your groceries delivered to your door. Select your goods from our ‘produce’ page and pay cash or card on delivery.
Delivery will be Friday from 4.00p.m onwards, £5.00 delivery charge within a 12 mile radius.

New Stock
We are pleased to launch a new range of goods within our Farm Shop. Many items now available to complete and compliment all your cooking requirements. Also look out for ‘Recipe of the Week’ for that added inspiration.
Salami and Chorizo
We now have a regular supply of ‘homemade’ salami and chorizo available for you to view in our drying cabinet within the shop.
Steak Night
‘Steak Night’ held the last Friday of every month. Book your table and arrive any time from 7.00p.m, the table is yours for the evening. Enjoy our starters delicious steaks and homemade desserts all complimented with local beers and wines. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Nestled in County Durham’s picturesque countryside just outside Trimdon, Dropswell Farm Shop has been a welcome haven for visitors since 2002.Our aims remain unchanged – To sell the very best home reared or locally sourced meats and vegetables; to maintain traditional farm shop values and of course to provide a friendly and professional service.
Run by Paul and Christine Craddock and their hardworking team, you are assured of a warm welcome. There is now a bigger excuse to stay longer with the opening of the Dropswell Tea Room.Whether you are looking for a hearty Sunday lunch, midday meal, lighter snack or a great all day breakfast Dropswell can offer it all. The Farm Yard Cafe offers you the chance to sit back and relax in comfortable surroundings, while sampling the shop’s produce prepared by David the chef.
First and foremost Dropswell offers first class locally produced meats, prepared by Paul who has learnt his trade over the last 25 plus years, ably aided by Ronnie in the butchery department. Always keen to show his innovative and artisan techniques, Paul prides himself on helping you source the cuts and products you want.Our tearoom is fully licensed serving locally brewed beers and wines, with the addition of our conservatory we can now cater for small functions. We are now also offering a take away menu.
